A student initiative aimed towards elementary and middle school students to educate Hawai'i's youth on mental health awareness, self-care, and personal growth through the art of dance and music. The program provides a lesson on what mental health is, why students should prioritize their mental health/well being, and how they can support their self care journey. After the educational session we teach a short dance routine to represent a form of self care, and put into effect how dance can reduce stress and improve your mood. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where everyone can express themselves and learn new skills while nourishing their emotional well-being.
